There's a saying about Helen of Troy that she had "the face that launched a thousand ships." (You see, I read too.) Well, just look at that face at the beginning of my blog. Is that not the most handsome, soulful, endearing young chi you have every seen? Would it just melt your heart? Well, friends, my fifth birthday is only four days away. Just a gentle reminder that gifts are still welcome for the big day! Treats, toys, designer clothing.
Mamas went out yesterday with Aunties Koukla and Dee and left me with Papas and Grandpa Zizou. They were trying to put up the lights in the living room and they were interrupting my beauty sleep on the sofa. So I was a very bad boy -- I barked and barked all day. I ran all over the house and kept barking at them. Papas didn't like that.
But I'm still adorable and Mamas still loves me. I am used to being home alone all day and it is peaceful and quiet. All I do is eat, sleep, poop and run back and forth to bark at the strangers who walk along MY STREET.
Last night Mamas and Papas were taking my birthday pictures of this sophisticated, handsome, debonair chi. I was Mr. GQ in every pose. And then my brother Nero wanted in on the act. He came in to interrupt my photo shoot and I barked and barked at him, but this time it didn't work. He jumped up on the living room chair and a half and sat down. He's so fat (he's 30 lbs.) that he filled the whole chair!!! They eventually finished with Fat Cat and returned to Mr. GQ and continued to take my pictures. I posed and posed for them, giving them my best sides. And then I got my treats. Mamas is going to send MY pictures to Grandma in Syracuse because she misses me and I miss her and the Big Guy.
Remember Friends, only four days to go until this chi's BIG DAY. Don't forget the gifts. Send them in care of Mamas!!
Adios for today.
