Grandma Ellie and Grandpa Tom took me on a month long trip to their house in North Syracuse. We left on August 1st and I spent the whole ride sitting comfortably on Gram's lap. The whole back seat was loaded with goodies from Paneantico that Gram was bringing to her friends in Syracuse. It was a great ride because I could sleep and look out the windows and see the sights all along the road.
We stopped at Crossings for a potty stop and a drink of water, at McDonald's and then again in Binghamton for lunch. I was able to run around in the pet areas on my Puppia leash and smell the grass and flowers.
When we got to Syracuse, Grandpa put me in the bathtub until he put my papers down so I wouldn't wet the bathroom rug. As soon as I got my papers, I went potty. I am such a good boy!!!!
I ran around the house to familiarize myself with all my old spots. Then Gram unpacked my suitcase and my quilt so I could feel right at home. She put out my food and water dishes in the old spot and then I ran and laid down on the back of the couch.
We had a routine every day. Grandpa went to Mass every morning and when I heard him drive into the driveway, I ran to the back door and barked. Then I ran around the rooms for four laps until we sat down to breakfast. Gram had yogurt and she would let me lick the tops. Grandpa gave me some banana every day. Sometimes, I would get fresh fruit. Then we would go out for our morning walks and I could meet Bailey, Daisy, Mario and Max.
Gram and I would watch the old movies on TV. I would jump up and down from the back of the couch to her stomach, watch her do her crafts and give her hugs and kisses. She would give me treats from the treat jar. She taught me to take two treats from the jar. I am very smart.
I slept with Gram on the sofa every night and when I thought it was time to wake her up, I would crawl out from under the blankets and give her lots of hugs and kisses to wake her up. Then I would twirl around on the floor and she knew I wanted my morning treats.
I got a bath while I was there. Grandpa dried me with a towel and then I ran around the house to dry off. I stopped to dry off on Gram's pillows. It was such fun because I left my scent there for her and I picked up her scent, too.
We went lots of places. Grandpa took me to Onondaga Lake Park, Heritage Park, Lincoln Park, Kennedy Park and the Park along Lock 24 at Baldwinsville. All the parks were fun but the best one was the one at the lock at Baldwinsville. Grandpa put me up on the top of the ledge so that I could see the boats go through the locks as the level of the water went down. There was a docent (a lady who was explaining what was going on) talking to Grandpa and me. I really liked to listen to her because I could see all that was happening. I was on top of things instead of being on the ground not being able to see anything.
We also went to see Aunt Sue, Uncle Cliff, Susan, Matt, Jenna, Ruby and Junior. They chased me and I jumped on Grandpa's lap.
Aunt Jean and Uncle Gaspare came for a visit and we went to several places with them. We took a few walks around North Syracuse and I got to run around the yard. When I was ready to go back, I just sat down. Then they turned around and went back.
The next weekend Johnny, Jenn, Ray, Al, Aliyah and Dunkin' (a.k.a. Timmy) came for a visit. Wow, was that an interesting visit. Those two dogs are BIG. I was scared at first when I saw them, but then I learned how to get along with them. I barked and barked and told them who was BOSS in the house -- ME! I had to sleep upstairs with Gram and Grandpa because Al slept on the couch. Dunkin' came in to check on us and I barked at him. Ray kept coming in to take him out but once he jumped on the bed and laid down at Gram's feet. I jumped up in her hair and BARKED.
Then Gram made us become friends. And we did. Dunkin' really is a nice dog and so is Aliyah. They want to be my friends but they are so big that I am afraid of them. When the old folks went out for breakfast, I got the run of the house downstairs while Aliyah and Dunkin' were kept upstairs. They scratched the woodwork on Mommy's room door. But I was a good boy downstairs!!!!!
Auntie Gail came to help Mommy quilt and then I really had fun. I would bark when she came in and she knew she had to give me treats. After a while, I got used to her coming over and I wouldn't bark at her. So she would give me treats anyway.
Mommy and Daddy finally came last weekend. I was sitting on Gram's lap on the porch when them came. I was glad to see them again, but I was happy to stay with Gram. She spoiled me so much while I was with her.
When we went into the house, I ran my laps around the rooms and up and down on the furniture. I jumped on Gram's lap, gave her hugs and kisses and Mommy got jealous. She thought I forgot her. I went to Daddy and jumped on him. I didn't pay too much attention to Mommy and she felt badly about that. I guess I shouldn't have done that to her. I really do love her. I really didn't mean to hurt her. I just knew that when they came, I was going home and leaving Grandma and Grandpa.
Daddy and Mommy played with me and stroked me, but they let me sleep with Gram until we left. When Mommy pulled out my bag, I jumped into it. I was ready to go home, but I really didn't want to leave Gram and Grandpa. I miss them both a lot. They were so very good to me. I have been a little bad boy to Nero and Pia, and I barked all day yesterday. I wanted to talk to Gram on the phone.
I really did have a lot a fun in Syracuse. I visited with Uncle Ron and Auntie Bev at their house. And I ran around their yard. Mommy and Daddy said that I could spend at least a month with Grandma and Grandpa in North Syracuse every summer. They said that they never saw me so peppy and agile. I do want to go back to spend time with them up there. I even got to go to the bead store with Mom and Gram to meet the ladies there and got some treats. I got to walk around and see the beads.
Everybody loved me. After all, I am the most adorable, lovable, handsome, elegant, sophisticated, country Chihuahua!

Trials and Tribulations of a Patriotic Chi
To my American friends.
Today, Mamas decided to sleep in and I decided to wake her up. At 7:10 AM. To let her know it was the 4th of July. I couldn't want to see the fire works. I was already being entertained by papas, but I knew that it was time to get mamas up. I ran from the office (in the front of the house) to the back of the house, over hill and near cat and I barked at mamas. I fooled her into thinking that I wanted to come back to bed, but when she got up to pick me up, I ran back into papas. We were playing a video game and mamas yelled at me and papas to keep the door closed. Papas closed the door and I hung out with him and mamas went back to bed. I was slightly annoyed since I wanted mamas to tell me all about the fireworks, but papas entertained me again.
So later in the day, mamas and papas finished cleaning out the garage and it is SO neat now. We had a b.b.q. and Mary and Frankie and their kids came over. I ran around, I barked and I begged. I got nothing. So rude. I was chased and then I was treated to some peanut butter.. nummie nummie. I barked and the boys kept coming after me. Pia was being a kvetching kat and Nero was running away, of course. He is a bully in private, but when there is an audience, he is a scaredey cat!
They left. I am sitting with mamas and papas and we watched the fireworks. Mamas and I did the fox trot and now I am resting.
Happy 4th of July....
Ciao!

Celebrity Weddings
Let us discuss some very interesting television. Mamas, being the eternal romantic, is watching Forbes 20 most expensive weddings. I am sitting here behind her. I am not too excited about this because I can't afford a wedding like this.
Alas, I digress, let me get back to the task at hand - Forbes. I cannot afford a wedding. I guess that should be o.k. since I have more women than I can handle. I have Miss PIa, who has my heart. I have Miss Molly LuLu who sniffs my coolie and some other random hounds who love me. So, If I have a wedding, it will have to be on a chi budget, but I will definitely get my sweetie pie a huge diamond. Every female deserves a huge rock. Then, I will have to do my pimpin' again and have to save for a big lavish wedding. I sent mamas to a store today in Staten Island that makes puppy couture. I would buy only the best tux for myself, even tho I am always in the tux, being the dapper chi that I am. My wonderful fiancee would get a beautiful custom couture. Only the best for my woman. The first woman in my life, however is the mamas. She approves of my decisions, but she would love me to stay here and love her forever. Remember folks, I turned 5 this year, so that is a big time 35 in human years. It is time to get a woman.. a steady woman.

Brass Knuckles and Biscuits
One fine day... there was a papas. He would eat steak, pork, meat on a stick, gyro, all forms of meaty goodness. Then there was a Pia cat. You see, she was from the plantation. Pia was an excellent baker and she used to make biscuits. Actually, her mammy used to make her biscuits. Aggie said to Pia, "You make the biscuits and I will provide the meat." "Oh Lordy, Lord, if you say so Aggie."
So Aggie went on his quest to be all sweet to the papas and he had his brass knuckles in his pocket. Yes, this is one chihuahua who has pockets, because he is fancy. He had his BK in his pockets and went to sit with papas. Tonight, he was eating a succulent turkey leg. Turkey legs happen to be Pia's favorite. Aggie knew he was going to be the hero tonight. He sat quietly on the back of the couch and tried to steal, putting on his regular show of grab and go. He snuck back behind the papas and put on his brass knuckles. He jumped out onto the papas lap and punched him with the brass knuckles. He dropped the turkey leg and Aggie grabbed it. He ran into Pia and produced the LEG. She had the table all set with candle light and fine china and silver. They feasted all night, while the papas was being nursed back to health by mamas, or as Pia calls her, Girl.
And they lived happily ever after...

What a faker...
I am pegged as such. Right now, I am laying next to mamas showing her my bum. I was so lazy last night and today. I haven't gotten off the couch. I was so gloomy that I made papas feel guilty and he stayed home with me. What a fun day we had! We watched tv, and movies and foodtv, and more tv. Papas waited on me paw and paw. He dripped water into my mouth. Let me lick peanut butter off of his paw, laid with me in bed. Set up a make-shift sick-bed on the love seat for me. I sat, I laid, I slept, I laid, I barked and that was when papas knew I was a faker. I wanted to have company today and I wanted to chill with papas. We hung out and he worked a bit from home and I worked a bit from the love seat, and now I am going to take a nap with mamas. I barked very loudly when she came home. I was so happy to see her. I wish she had stayed home also. Anyway, now she is home and we are snuggling. I will write again later. Hopefully we will have an adventure tonight.

Bummed Chi..
Today started as every other normal chi day. I woke up under the papas. He was laying on my bum. I then got up and rubbed my bum with toilet paper. I went back to the couch and laid on my bum until mamas left. She rubbed my bum and gave me kisses goodbye. Papas hung out with me for a bit. He got dressed and went to work and then Mr. Sir came over. He had to do some work in the house for mamas and papas then he smuggled me back to Grannie's house. He wrapped me in my quilt that grannie made me and then took me to my vacation home. I looked for my treats, but there were none. Mamas needed to get me new ones and she says she hasn't found any that are good for me. She says they will make my bum fat.
Mamas picked me up with grannie at grannie's house and they took me to the VET! They betrayed me. I had to have a thermometer put in my bum. Ow, that did hurt. Chis are not supposed to have things placed in their bum. Then, two shots in my bum. One in my right bum cheek, then the other in the left bum cheek. I am very bummed today. I did, however, get new treats out of the deal. Dr. Thompson told mamas and grannie all the good things that they can give me. I am going to be a fruit bat soon. Peas, carrots, apples, pears, and a tiny bit of chicken. That sounds good to a chi. Of course, I had to come home and get a bath. I was just scrubbed ever so gently by the mamas and papas, as usual will be dried by the papas. Now, I am laying wrapped like a tortilla on papas in a towel with two hairs sticking up like horns. I will definitely have a good night's sleep tonight.
I've gotta go rub my bum.
Good night sleepy chi...

Please feel badly for me...
I can't understand why a little Chihuahua can't catch a break from mamas and papas. One small piece of barbecued steak for lunch? After all, I stay home alone all morning waiting for papas to come home for lunch to keep me company, and then I get chased for "stealing" a piece of steak? All I get to eat is the dry kibble and water. No treats. Maybe a piece of banana.
I am going to Grandma's today for a few days. At least I can get some chicken and steamed broccoli there. I can sleep with no snoring. I have my quilt on the sofa and the pillows and Grandma's new quilt on the bed. I can sleep between Gram and Mr. Sir. It's warm and comfy.
I don't get yelled at, no text messages if I "steal" a piece of steak. No problems with kids, cats, strays, snoring. I can wake Gram up by jumping on her in the morning. She calls me her Mexican Jumping Bean. I snuggle next to her on the sofa and we watch the San Antonio Spurs Basketball Games. She is making me new sweaters and now new braided collars. I wish I could go away with her to Syracuse, but I can't behave. She is going away for a month and I have to go back to my parents again.
I like to run around the yarn, go for rides in the car, visit Auntie Bev and Uncle Ron and go for walks with Grandpa around the neighborhood. I also like to bark at the other dogs who walk by the house and keep watch. I have two friends up there named Daisy and Bailey who walk by and bark at me.
I know that mamas and papas love me and I love them too, but I need some special attention. After all, I am a loveable, adorable, sophisticated, well-mannered, educated Chihuahua. Maybe I will get it when mamas is on vacation from school.
Oh well, off to pack my bag with my quilt and blanket for a few days vacation to Gram's house. I have to do some shopping for papas for Father's Day. I saw something that I think he will really like.

An Official Thief...
Get the handcuffs!
I WON I WON I WON!
Today.. is a day for all chi's of the world to celebrate. Today, while papas was home for lunch, he was dining on some lovely grilled steak. I admit, I was jealous. Born out of a chi's jealousy comes a plot. Papas was on the couch having a lovely lunch and he happened to have me behind him on the back of the couch. I sat behind him to "relax" and while he was looking away, I snatched up some steak from his paw.. and I was VICTORIOUS!!!!! I won.. Papas was so angry, he chased me off the couch and I barked and growled and I tried to get some more.. Anyway, papas was so angry with me he sent a text message to mamas and told on me. It was 100% worth it. I didn't even care if mamas was angry. When papas came home tonight he was nibbling again and I tried to steal again, but to no avail.
Tomorrow is another day....
Sleep Disturbed...
Why can't a chi take a nice long 8 hour nap without being disturbed?
I think mamas is sleep deprived. She always lays down for a nap at night and then gets up so many times. The real reason why I am concerned is because My sleep is disturbed. I can't sleep soundly if everyone is up and moving around. Papas gets up, mamas gets up and then we all snuggle again. Papas snores, mamas snores, and from what I understand, I snore as well. I will be honest, can you believe that a tiny snuggly little chi snores? I doubt it! Anyway, mamas has this horrid habit lately of waking me up at 4:30. She is so rude. I will have to have a chat with her tonight.
Back to sleep..
Aahhh

Gravy Trains with Biscuit Wheels...
Let me tell you.. life as a chi is definitely tough. After listening to the Memorial Day parade like a patriotic chi, I decided that was definitely enough activity for the day. I began my long day of lounging. I was lounging, and I mean lounging, when I was woken up by the pleasant sounds of my carrier being pulled out. This always means I am going for a car ride. Mr. Sir packed me up and I went to see mamas. She had Auntie Dee in the car because she had to run errands. So I jumped out of my carrier when I saw her and got on her lap to drive, but she wouldn't let me. So, she went and got some stuff in the store, none of which is Chi friendly. Anyhoo, I get back to the house with mamas and she, daddy, and I had a BBQ. We were in the backyard when the neighborhood stray cat, who looks like Nero, tried to sneak in. Mamas saw him and shooed him away while protecting me. In the meantime, I was barking a storm, running back and forth, begging, barking, begging, running, all to no avail. Finally, I gave up and laid on my quilt, being a perfect guard hound. Suddenly, my quiet day was disturbed. Papas friend Frank and his wife and three sons came by to say hi. Let me tell you, they are weird children. Normally I am not friendly toward kids, today was no exception. They brought some treats and they sat around for a while and I kept on barking at the kids.. barking, barking, barking... We all hung out and finally I stood by the door and barked until I was let in. I had to tinkle and then I went to sleep. The company left and I was relaxing until papas reminded mamas to blog for me.. so here we are blogging and I am yawning to get back to sleep.....
Good night sleepy chi....

Grandparents ROCK!
Thank Goodness for grandparents. Mamaw and Mr. Sir are in Syracuse, so I thought all is lost for a chi, but I tell you, my Babushka and Dedushka are just as good! They are definitely wrapped around my paw. Mamaw and Mr. Sir know my tricks, but since they do not see me that much, they definitely cater to my will! Today was Dedushka's birthday, so we had to go celebrate and where there is food, a chi follows. Mamas and I were the only American's there and I was pampered. I have to admit, I did throw a hissy fit or three. I got two bowls of borscht and it was super nummie! There were other goodies. but I didn't get any of them. Since I am a chi, and I have a tiny belly, there is portion control where I am concerned.
I am currently sitting on mamas.. writing this blog.. papas is on his laptop.. you see we are a very technologically savvy family!
It is time for a chi nap now...
Muchos Besos y Mimos....

My career as a thief...
Was sort lived!
Wednesday night was an ordinary night. Papas was eating a pear, mamas was doing online fashion research and I was trying to score some nummies. So, I put on my cute face, growl, bark, beg, sniffle, jump, put on my cute face again and what happens, nothing. NOT A THING. I am so adorable, how can anyone resist? Even once in a while mamas gives me something, but always in a bowl, my bowl, why I am not sure? But.. I tell you always in a bowl, fancy with my kibble... maybe she is trying to tell me something. I am not sure.
So, back to the story at paw. Papas, gotta love him, put his pear core with some nibbles perfectly sized for a chi still on it, and he wrapped it in a paper towel and hid it behind his back. I sniffed it out, remember I have the nose of a blood hound. I nibbled, I licked and I got the towel away. I am so cute, papas thought I was nibbling at him, trying to snuggle. (I am slick.)
So, I get under papas and nibble on the towel till it is out and hooray.. I am then at my prize.
I grab it and run. PAPAS RAN AFTER ME! So rude. I got a chance to nibble and get a bit but then I growled and dropped the pear. It was to big for a chi to keep in his mouth so I dropped it and papas took it away from me.
Sigh...

Woe is a chi...
Wow, do I have it made!!! On Tuesday, I wasn't feeling well, so I put on my sad Chihuahua face and turned down my peanut butter treat when Mamas tried to give it to me.
What I really wanted was to go to the spa to see Grandma and Grandpa. I spend so much time alone in the front part of the house and I have no one to play with. All I do is sleep. I have to wait till Papas comes home for lunch, plays with me and gives me my half of banana. So, I cooked up this scheme to get to see the grandparents.
Papas took me to the Spa in my bag with my new quilt and black and white blanket. As soon as Grandpa let me out of the bag, I ran to the table where Gram had my yogurt treats waiting for me. They know how to treat an "ailing" Chi.
They go away so often and stay away so long that I miss them. So, when I can spend time with them, I have a lot of fun. On Tuesday, Gram made me some steamed broccoli, which I love. And then she gave me my kibble. I snuggled next to her on the sofa while she crocheted a baby blanket for a baby shower. She is also knitting the scarf that goes with my new jewel-tone sweater. When I felt better, I got up and laid on my new quilt that she made me and fell asleep.
I have been having so much fun here. Gram and I read People Magazine together; we play and watch TV and old movies. She even gave me some of her homemade Weight Watcher's soup. It's delicious. I hope Mamas makes some.
Grandpa plays games and throws my toys around. He picks me up and pets and strokes me. It feels so good.
They are going back to Syracuse on Monday for ten days. I want to go with them, but Mamas said I can't go because I am a bad boy. I run out of the house and around the grounds. I have so much fun up there running around. Grandpa takes me for walks around the neighborhood and to visit Uncle Ron and Auntie Bev. But I have to wait here for them to come home.
I still have a few days left here at the spa. I am going to enjoy my time with Grandma and Grandpa. On Sunday we are going to celebrate Mother's Day and Grandma's Birthday. Papas is going to barbecue in the backyard and I am going to have fun running around.
This is really a good week for me. Whoopee!!!!

Whoopee!!!!

A Very tired Chi
No one ever said Chis have to be outdoor chis. I definitely am NOT an outdoor chi. I love to be on the couch, the bed, the couch, someone's lap, the car, my bag. etc. I am sure you get the point. Yesterday, mamas thought it would be a great idea if we sat in the backyard with Auntie's Koukla and Zenia. We have a table that mamas and papas bought. It is so cool. It has six chairs, of course I was on one wrapped in my new quilt. I did run around for a while and bark a lot. Then I jumped on mamas lap and begged to be put in my bag. She wrapped me up. Then we moved the party inside and I was pooped. Papas came home and had to go to UPS so he and mamas and I took a ride. We had a good time, but a chi can only have so many outings in one day.
Today, I am at the spa, to recharge. I am pooped and I was so tired I even refused to eat my peanut butter. Imagine that....
Ciao for now!

Being Sprung from Prison
Hooray! Grandma Ellie and Grandpa Tom finally came back from Syracuse on Saturday and their first stop was at my house to see me!!! They came to take me home with them to the spa.
Mamas and Papas had two little female people visiting for the weekend. They kept making noises and were looking at me in strange ways. I think they wanted to get down on the floor and play with me. So I was grateful to Grandma for springing me out of that noisy place.
I was so excited to see them. I ran around and around and chased after Gram and followed her into the bathroom. I missed her so much. She came back with lots of presents for Mamas -- purses and scarves, cakes and goodies to serve to the adults.
But she brought me the BEST presents. She and Auntie Gail made me a black and white Log Cabin Quilt with red centers and binding. Auntie Gail did all the cutting out and quilting, but Gram did all the sewing together and the fancy stuff. I love it and sleep on it all the time. It goes with me wherever I go. I take it to Gram's when I visit her. I even have a special label that has my name on it that Auntie Gail printed especially on her computer. She put a crown in the center of it under my name. She and Gram are such special ladies for making my quilt.
Gram also made me four new sweaters: one that looks like a serapi in many colors, since I'm a little black Mexican Chihuahua, one in mauve and gray, one in yellow, one in multi-colored dark jewel tones. The serapi and the dark jewel tones match two shawls that Gram made Mamas. When we go out for our walks, we can dress like mother and son.
I am such a spoiled Chihuahua. I can take a new portfolio of pictures in my new wardrobe of sweaters on my quilt. It will be a wonderful background for the color in the sweaters. I am such a handsome, debonair devil, so Mr. GQ!!

Papas Teeth
My Papas is in so much pain. I feel horrible for him. I totally understand what he is going thru now. He had two teeth pulled today. The pharmacy is late in delivering his medicine. He is in pain. The dentist had to chip away at one tooth and the other came out like a pop. Papas told me how it was.. he said it just popped like pop corn. Now the stupid medicine is not here for him to take and I am so sad for him.
Nero, Pia, I and mama are all laying on the bed with papas trying to make him feel better. I am so angry and mamas is also and she has been calling the stupid pharmacy and they are closed.
GROWL!

Do Chis go to Steakhouses?
I often wonder... where are the restaurants for Chihuahuas? Since I am famous, I get dinner invitations all the time, but lately the invites have been waning. I am quite annoyed at this, I will share with you. One day, I will get to Lorenzo's in the Staten Island Hilton. They named the restaurant after their pup, Lorenzo. He is a bit more famous than I and I do hate to admit it. I wouldn't mind sharing a plate of filet mignon with him, but I hear he is a real nasty hound. I think he isn't into sharing. I hear the mamas met him a few years ago. he almost bit her fingers off.. that is so uncool.. I am glad I wasn't there because I would have so defended the mamas it wouldn't have been funny!
So.. yesterday mama and I went for a walk... we didn't go too far, but when we got back to 81st, I turned left and headed for home. I needed a nap after that walk. It was a bit warm out and I enjoyed it, but we all know how I love to sleep....
Maybe I will take a hot spa bath.... aaaahhh.. sounds like a chis dream!

A Sleepy Chi
Once a day I try to take a nap.. well, let me rephrase this... once an hour.. I try to take a nap.. and because of the neighborhood, and the people and the other dogs, it is way too disturbing. Don't get me wrong, I love the house and the neighborhood, but these people are loud. I am not sure if they realize that a famous chi is living here in the new house. I think I have to speak to the landlord and start a neighborhood watch for sleepy chi's...

Where's my Yarmukle?
Shalom, my friends and have a swift Pesach.
I am here to tell you of my first Passover in many years. I am 5 this year, ladies and gents and I have to say, it was not what I remember. We went to Great Grannie's and celebrated this solemn event in our history. Babushka and Dedushka, Mamas and Papas and I all got gussied up and went to eat. I hear mamas and papas had some yummy food, but all I got was some matzoh that fell on the floor. I realized a bit too late that we were watching a Yiddish Rock Concert depicting the exodus from Egypt of Moses and his people. There were many yiddish songs and at the finale, they played Hava Neegila. I am not sure if the spelling is correct, so please forgive the hound.
I realized that Matzoh was kosher, but I would have liked a pickle, or some bitter herb or some manischiewitz....

How one forgets...
Yesterday after Mamas came home from the dermatologist, she took me out for a walk. It was such a beautiful day! I was dressed in my Juicy Couture Sweatshirt and had on my Coach collar. We walked down the block and on the avenue to see the ladies at the Hair Dresser. Mamas made an appointment for me for domani to get a hair cut. I feel strongly about having long hair. It is what distinguishes me from the other chi's in town. I am fortunate, however, that they do not touch my butt-fur. That, to me, is a definite must. I do not feel that anyone should have a scissors taken to their posterior. I do my best to grow my hair as often and as quickly as possible. I do only go for a haircut a few times a year, but it is always torture for me.
On our walk, we met a lady with two short hair chi's. One was a girl, she cried like a baby...it disturbed me because she sniffed my coolie. I do not like it when other dogs sniff my rear. I know it is how we get to know each other, but, you see, I do not think of myself as a dog. I am more human-like. I display more human-like qualities and that is just that. I sit on the couch and watch television. I eat like a normal human being at normal human being hours. I use the rest room like normal humans, so why do I wind up in the dog category? It perplexes me.

And the thought of the day is....
The weekend.. treats will abound....Mamas and Papas will be home. I hear that I am supposed to get a hair cut tomorrow and that I am also suppose to go for a pedicure. I am sure that I will be a nervous Chi at the vet for my pedicure so I am going to have to take a bath also. Mamas says it is a spa day.. for Chihuahuas it is not. I do not like spa days. I love to wallow in my stink. As soon as my bath is over, I start to grab my stink again. I think it is fun, but no one else does. They like me all fluffy and clean and soft with my ears all fluffified!

Hola...
It's been a while since I have written. I have been busy, honestly. There were the holidays, there was barking to be done. There was ice cream to be eaten. I have had it difficult lately. I do admit, I have missed writing. I was at the spa for a few days. I am back here home with mamas and we are hanging out right now watching American Idol.. so we are going to go to bed soon. I am so tired. I had a big day of barking and since Papas came home for lunch, I got my half of a banana....so things were good here. I didn't have to yell at papas because he gave in to me today....

Easter
So, I give up.. I was so adorable today, fluffy, black, white and cute all over and I got NO handouts!
I woke up today to a basket full of treats and since it was Easter, I got my yogurt treats and a greenie. I knew I was going to see mamas and papas today. The whole family was there.. it was great. We had ice cream for my birthday, which was last week and I got to lay on everyone and get lots of lovin'.
Right now, I am definitely trying to figure out how to get some food from mamas and papas. They are being stingy. Maybe tomorrow will be a better day for hunting chi nummies.

Erin Go Bragh
Today is St. Patrick's Day and I am wearing my Fisherman's Sweater and am striking my usual GQ pose. I am planning to watch the parade on TV and play some Irish Tenors and Irish Rovers music to get me in the mood. I am laying on my Irish Merino wool blanket to keep me warm. Grandma is going to make me a black and white log cabin quilt for my birthday. She will make it when she goes back to Syracuse next month.
This is the week -- Grandma and The Big Guy are coming home on Wednesday and then the fun really begins. I will spend several days at their apartment becoming the "spoiled rotten chi" all over again. Gram always goes overboard trying to make up for missing me. I get all kinds of treats, hugs, special privileges and trips. It's so peaceful and quiet there. They will be home for two weeks. What a wonderful time we will have together.
I can't wait for Wednesday!!!!
Mamas knows that I know they are coming home because I have been barking and running around. I have been misbehaving and just being my playful self. I can't wait until I see them on Wednesday. I hope that Mamas takes me to see them right after her massage.

mis cumpleaƱos
so today is mis cumpleaƱos, and you know what happens on this day, balloons and cupcakes, well not for this chi. A perfect cumpleaƱos would be to wake with mamas and jump on her belly. Then, of course, I go to jump on the papas and wake him also. Then I will proceed to get up and do my morning stretch and exercise. I will then ask papas to prepare my big birthday boy breakfast (mamas taught me all about alliteration since she is an English teacher). I have feasted a few times today. Mamas didn't give me any treats, but she did buy me awesome presents! I got a new Juicy puffy jacket and a sweatshirt! It is so cool, the sweatshirt says that I bark for treats, DUH what poochie doesn't??? So, I got some cool new additions to my wardrobe.
I am hanging with mamas right now, but I am waiting for papas to get home. I think he is cooking me something very special!
I will update later!

Barking and Growling
Today I finally got a banana. I think papas was angry at me for barking in his face yesterday. He has been neglecting me ladies and gents. Never mind that I am the cutest chi on the planet. Papas should know not to make me upset. He knows what will happen to him if he doesn't give me the banana.
Today we had one. I spy an entire bunch of them also. So he definitely got the hint.
I also heard mamas and papas planning a special birthday dinner for me. I think it will consist of chicken and rice. A real Spanish dinner pollo y arroz. That is my favorite. I also would like a little adobo on top! I also spy an order that mamas made for me. A birthday cake and puppy ice cream. I hope it is yummy! Right now I am having mamas type because I declare this my birthday week, so she is my new slave.
I am not sure where papas is tonight, but i do expect mucho bessos when he gets home. Mamas and I are going to watch American Idol and I am going to vote tonight for my favorite!

yesterday...
There's a saying about Helen of Troy that she had "the face that launched a thousand ships." (You see, I read too.) Well, just look at that face at the beginning of my blog. Is that not the most handsome, soulful, endearing young chi you have every seen? Would it just melt your heart? Well, friends, my fifth birthday is only four days away. Just a gentle reminder that gifts are still welcome for the big day! Treats, toys, designer clothing.
Mamas went out yesterday with Aunties Koukla and Dee and left me with Papas and Grandpa Zizou. They were trying to put up the lights in the living room and they were interrupting my beauty sleep on the sofa. So I was a very bad boy -- I barked and barked all day. I ran all over the house and kept barking at them. Papas didn't like that.
But I'm still adorable and Mamas still loves me. I am used to being home alone all day and it is peaceful and quiet. All I do is eat, sleep, poop and run back and forth to bark at the strangers who walk along MY STREET.
Last night Mamas and Papas were taking my birthday pictures of this sophisticated, handsome, debonair chi. I was Mr. GQ in every pose. And then my brother Nero wanted in on the act. He came in to interrupt my photo shoot and I barked and barked at him, but this time it didn't work. He jumped up on the living room chair and a half and sat down. He's so fat (he's 30 lbs.) that he filled the whole chair!!! They eventually finished with Fat Cat and returned to Mr. GQ and continued to take my pictures. I posed and posed for them, giving them my best sides. And then I got my treats. Mamas is going to send MY pictures to Grandma in Syracuse because she misses me and I miss her and the Big Guy.
Remember Friends, only four days to go until this chi's BIG DAY. Don't forget the gifts. Send them in care of Mamas!!
Adios for today.

Check out mamas new 'do!!
Today after mamas came home from work we went for a walk. She first geared me up in my Fancy Pants t-shirt, my off white fisherman sweater and schmancy green harness. We went to the hair salon so mama could cover her white hair. She doesn't like to be like me. I rock my white fur. Anyhoo.. Mamas needed to re-red her red.. so we went to Salon Briana and I ran around and barked and ran around some more. As soon as we walked in tho, I pooped! Teehee.. I am a bad chi!
Mama looks like an Irish lass and I still look like the big bad schmancy chi that I am!

7 days till my birthday!
I am the coolest chi. I have definitely grown into a schmancy pooch. I am making my list, it includes treats galore and some fun clothing. You all know I do love to dress fancy, so please forward all presents to mamas. She can assist you with my measurements and I prefer blue, red and green. They show up the best on my coat of shiny black and bib of fluffy white.
Currently, I am watching American Idol with mamas and papas. Today was pretty uneventful. The washing machine people came to hook up the dryer and they were in and out very quickly. Papas did not bring me a banana and I definitely let him have it. I definitely was not pleased with him. Mamas came right home today and gave me lots of love. We hung out on the couch and when she was back to her level of insane energy, she went down and did some laundry. I know she is in a lot of pain from her medicine, so sometimes, she needs to sit down and relax, so that is the best time for us to have relaxing time. I am still trying to show her that being lazy is definitely a good thing.

Another visit!
Who can't love an auntie who rubs the belly for hours on end?? I can't take it. I want a visitor every day! Auntie Dee came by today to help mama because she couldn't stay home today for the washing machine to be delivered. She let the men in and they are so BIG. I can't wait for mama to wash my blankies!
Anyway, back to me and Aunt Dee, she came by and rubbed my belly, scratched my ears, and my head. I needed a good massage. It always helps a chi. So afterward, the mail lady came and I growled at her putting the mail in the slot, but I was too busy getting massaged to get up and bark.
Aaaaa......what a lazy day..........

My Super Surprise 5th birthday...
And now for a word or two about my "surprise" birthday party.
As most of you know, on March 12th, this sophisticated, debonair, charming, well-bred long/short hair, black and white Chihuahua will turn five. (That's thirty-five in people years.)
Mama is planning a "surprise" birthday party for me. She doesn't know I know about it, but I saw the evite that she sent on the computer when I was typing my blog the other day. It had my picture on the front in my favorite Irish Fisherman sweater that Grandma Ellie made me. It's my GQ pose.
The party is on March 12th and all my friends are invited -- Perri and Aunt Koukla, Molly and Aunt Danielle, Pia, Nero, Aunt Maria, Grandma and Grandpa Zizou. The only ones missing are Grandma Ellie and The Big Guy. We are serving greenies, dog bones dipped in yogurt, chocoyogurt drops, shredded grilled chicken and doggie birthday cake. The humans are eating human food that Papas is cooking.
Nero and Pia, my older brother and sister are in charge of decorating the house. I am sure they will do a great job of hanging the decorations and then swinging from them.
Mama is taking me out for a ride so that the guests can arrive with all their presents. Then I can come home to my party and act surprised when everybody comes out from hiding and yells, "Surprise!!!!" (I've been practicing how to react for over a week. I don't want them to know I know.)
I can't wait for the presents. I want to see all the loot I get this year. I already found a package from Grandma Ellie with new collars from Coach in lots of new colors. Can't wait to see what she brings me from Syracuse!!
Oh well, I have to wait. I'm such a deserving Chihuahua. After all, I bring joy into everyone's life and I should get treats and gifts once in a while.
Adios!

Where's Granny?
Here I am, a lonely handsome, sophisticated, debonair Chihuahua with a custom tailored wardrobe, handmade sweaters and blankets, and soon a personally designed quilt. But I am here in Brooklyn and my Italian grandparents, Mammaw Ellie and The Big Guy Tom are in Syracuse, stuck in the snow. Grandma says it snows every day and she hates the snow. I don't like it either. It hurts my paws.
They will not be home until March 19th. They will miss my birthday party. This will be the first one they have missed in all my life. (They missed one of Mama's when she was twenty-five because Grandma had her knee operated on and the doctor wouldn't let her come home.)
But Grandma promised me lots of presents. I heard from Grandpa Tom that she is going to make me a special quilt for my chair in the front room. She is doing lots of shopping for me. After all, a sophisticated and debonair charmer like me doesn't have a fifth birthday every day! Take a look at the picture at the top of my blog page. Wouldn't those eyes just melt your heart???
Be back again soon. Want to call Grandma Ellie and Grandpa Tom. Miss them very much. Hope they come home soon. I get my visit to De Luxe Suite at La Mirador Cullivan and back to all my pampering.

Be back again soon. Want to call Grandma Ellie and Grandpa Tom. Miss them very much. Hope they come home soon. I get my visit to De Luxe Suite at La Mirador Cullivan and back to all my pampering.

What a Day!
In the morning, mamas and papas went to buy me new pillows. They say they are for them really, but I do NOT believe them! I got four brand new pillows. They are super awesome! Soft and comfy for my weary chihuahua bones! After that mamas and papas saw papas great granny. Then they came and picked me up and we went to granny and grandpa Zizou. I barked and barked and barked some more. I ran around and got lots of compliments with GO GREEN recycle hoodie. It was so adorable. I had my hood on and I looked like a G. Mamas says I am the O.G.
Right now, I am laying here with mamas and she has Nero on the couch also. He is trying to get her attention by looking cute. He thinks he is cute. I am WAY cuter than he is! He is always trying to beat me up. He always tries to beat Pia. She gets him back tho. I love her for it!
Talk to you manana!

Paper Work
Papas and I did paper work today. He promised me a four course meal if I helped him with paper work. I have to tell you, he did not deliver on his promise.
Mamas had to go out today with Auntie Danielle to the jeweler. She had to get something for Aunt Mere's son. Anywho, Mamas wasn't gone too long, but Papas and I were hanging out together. When he was in the bedroom with me, he was sorting paper work, hanging things, cleaning his clothes and doing general straightening up. When mamas came home, she finally took me off the bed and I ran around for a bit, trying to make mischief. I didn't really get into any, but I did nibble on some kitty food.
Mamas and I are now sitting on the couch and papas is getting ready to go to Best Buy so they can get me a new washer and dryer. I hope they come back with a chihuahua treat. My birthday is coming up you know!

Another Visit
What a week I had! This chi must be famous because two of my favorite aunties came by this week. Today, it was Auntie Koukla. She is so funny! She and mamas were hungry, so they made pasta, fusilli. They would not give me any. I have to say, even tho, for the most part, Auntie Koukla is very cool, she didn't even try to slip me something. I was quite upset. She and I always match. She loves to wear black and white. She gets mamas to love to wear black also. At least, when she picks me up, she never complains about my fur getting on her. She never sees it! I do know someone in her house who does not like when she hangs out with me, Perri. He was the one who I had my play date with the other night. I think we are having one again this weekend.
Mamas is trying to do laundry tonight, but it is not working so well. The washing machine is not doing its job, so she cannot wash my schmancy outfits. I will have to wait until she goes to Best Buy tomorrow to get a new washing machine and dryer. I hope they have luck tomorrow. I really would like to have my clothes laundered.

Ayer
Yesterday was insane. I will tell you all about it. Yesterday was not like any other lazy Chihuahua day, it was a day of excitement. My normal wake up time is 6 AM, then again at 7:15 when papas gets up. I woke up with mamas and papas when mama's alarm went off. I went back to sleep and woke up with papas, did my morning routine of running and barking and jumping. When papas was ready to go to work, Auntie Danielle showed up to play. She said she was going to hang out with me. We sat around, she watched television and studied and I sat on her head. I fell fast asleep and then when she and I were all comfy, the doorbell rang. It was two southern gentlemen who came to bring in the bed.
You see, mamas and papas bought a new king sized deluxe four post bed. It is SO tall. I look like a teeny tiny chi sitting on a big huge black bed. I love it. Nero tried to get on the bed last night and I scared him away with my big boy bark! He ran ran ran, but then Papas yelled at me!
I had a great day because I saw so many people and got to bark SO much. I also pooped a lot for mamas and papas to pick up! Teehee!

Hoy
Hoy I was woken up AGAIN too early. I do not understand why mamas and the papas do NOT understand that I need my chihuahua rest. Mamas should know, I am a sleepyhound. I love to rest because I have to run around and bark when they get home. The papas did come home today for lunch, so I was not alone all day. After my luncheon with the papas, I took my afternoon nap, woke up, barked at some people walking in front of the house and left a huge present for the papas to come pick up when he got home. Mamas went for her massage and came home right after papas, so I yelled at them both simultaneously. I was unhappy that I was alone, however life was much better once we were all home.

My Day
Well, I was woken up by mamas and papas this morning, way too early! I was NOT happy about that. I did want to stay in bed. Nevertheless, I got up, ran around, and tried to leave to work with mama. See, she promised to take me out yesterday, and, alas, she did not. So, when she was leaving for work today, I tried to hitch a ride. She did not take me. I hung out with papa until he went to work and waited patiently for our luncheon. He never showed up. I was home all day by my lonesome. I did not get my banana. I was very sad. Much to my surprise, mama came home and called Auntie Koukla. We got dressed in my Juicy tee that says "Anarchy in the dog park" and we went to the mall. I stayed in the car with Auntie and we hung out. I slept on her lap and mama went into get her laptop fixed at Apple. She came out a bit happier, so I knew life would be good. She took us to A.C. Moore. She is trying to get a side job as a jewelry instructor. I know she can do it, but we didn't see a sign for the position, so hopefully she will get it. I wouldn't mind a bit of extra chihuahua cash. It goes a long way. I do love my presents. I am a pampered poochie!
So, after A.C. Moore, mama and Auntie and I went to rescue Mama's laptop and we went to Auntie Koukla's house. She has a poochie named Perri. He chased me around sniffing my tush. You know that is how dogs greet each other. I have to say, I am not into that tho. I like to sniff Pia's tush :) She is my chick. ... We came home. Mama left Auntie's house and we drove home to Papa. He was making dinner for Mama when I came in. I was so happy to be home. I had to potty. So, I got undressed, went to potty and barked a bit. I yelled at papa for leaving me all alone for lunch. I ran around, kissed Pia hello and went to sit on my perch. The merlot colored cashmere blanket was folded on the love seat, so I went to sit on it, gave my paws a bath and fell fast asleep.
Oh the Good LIfe...

Planning ahead
Here I am again. I called my Grandpa Mark and gave him a suggestion to add to my painting. I can't hold a paint brush but I would like to add a soft feathering effect to my work. So I decided to dip my long feathery tail into the paint and drag it across the work. If I could do that in several colors, it would really add some color. Then if I SAT in two separate colors, I could drag my fuzzy butt over the picture. Man oh man, would my mama enjoy washing me after than painting session.
I am going to have fun with Grandma Zoya and Grandpa Mark. I can get away with anything with them. They are real easy with me. They let me do whatever I want. They spoil me like crazy. I am so soft and cuddly. Who can resist this cute, adorable little face, these soulful eyes looking up at them? They automatically melt like soft chocolate. Then they are putty in my hands and I can go to work and get whatever I want.
I am going to ENJOY my stay with the Vestermans!

Back home!
I went home last night to my newly decorated mansion, driven by Grandpa Tom, Grandma Ellie and Cousin Johnny from New Jersey. My mama greeted me at the door and was so happy to see me. She gave me hugs and kisses and couldn't stop herself. I guess she REALLY missed me BIG time. So, I can start barking again soon. And I can keep them awake!!!!!
Pia was waiting for me in the bedroom on our bed. We danced and cuddled and hugged and kissed and had a wonderful time together. She is such a great girlfriend. I really missed her. We are so compatible, such soulmates -- even though she is a beautiful gray and peach striped cat and I am a black long-haired, well-dressed. chic, handsome, debonair, sophisticated, wealthy, well-bred Chihuahua. She obviously recognizes class when she sees it.
I called my Russian grandparents, Grandma Zoya and Grandpa Mark last night to arrange a visit to their Russian spa next Thursday. I asked Grandma Zoya to make me some borscht and her special chicken patties. She knows I love them. If I bark, I get my way there too!!! I know how to work those humans also.
Grandpa Mark is an artist. He paints magnificent paintings. Mama and Papas have them hanging all over the house, on every wall. Grandma Ellie also has two and they are very special. Grandpa Mark said he is going to teach me how to paint with my paws. I think he means that I am going to put my paws in the different color paints and walk all over the canvas. That is going to be fun. Mama is going to like that -- washing my paws!!! Maybe she can sell it on Etsy. It can be an original Agador. I can earn my first dollar.
I guess it's time for my mid-morning nap. Writing these blogs takes a lot out of me. See you next time.

On Vacation Again...
When my humans go out, I quickly make a reservation for the private Agador Spartacus de luxe suite at La Mirador Cullivan. As I told you previously, I am driven here in my private limousine by the chauffeur, who carries me in my Coach Signature Travel Bag.
The bag is lined with two or three handmade blankets crocheted by my Grandma, while I wear an original design sweater also designed by her. She uses only the finest yarns. They are usually hand dyed and no two sweaters of mine are alike. They are one of a kind originals.
Again, I am greeted by the hostess Eleanora in her long flowing black caftan. It has some funny letters on it that I don't understand. But, as usual, I have a selection of treats: choco-yogurt drops and greenies. My pillows are fluffed and plumped on the antique raspberry sofa. I opt for a massage and leg exercise from Tom while I view Happy Feet. I enjoy that movie about the dancing penguins. It makes me feel like dancing with my "sister" Cassiopia Isabelle. I think I will call her and ask her for a date when I get home.
After my massage, I will go for a run of several laps around the perimeter of the spa, in and out of all the rooms, under the furniture, over the beds and stop for a drink at the doggie bar. The selection of Tap Waters is so refreshing and enervating. I can retire to my master bedroom for a leisurely nap on a king size bed with 600TC Sateen Sheets. This is really the lap of luxury!
Next week I will be staying at my Russian grandparents for a night. It is very different from here because they speak Russian to me and I don't understand it. However, they do spoil me because I know how to work them, too. I bark and they give me treats. My Russian Grandma, Zoya also makes me borscht. It's a kind of beet soup and I love it. She cooks different than my Italian Grandma, but she spoils me just the same.
I love BOTH sets of grandparents. They are really good to me and spoil me lots.
I am going to stay with Grandma Ellie and Grandpa Tom one more night. I hae to see how much more I can work these humans and see what I can get. The de luxe treatment at this spa will end tomorrow because the owners will go away for three weeks.

and Again...
I wish I had a camera to show you the luxury of La Mirador Cullivan. I have fluffy white pillows on a raspberry velvet antique sofa. My pillows are fluffed every time I get off them by a very congenial staff. There is also an elegant selection of colorful hand crocheted blankets that are made especially for me by my Grandma.
Last night there was a visit from Jean and Gaspare, two friends of Grandma and Grandpa. All I had to do to get attention and an assortment of treats was to bark a little and they were mine. I had them eating out of my hands. It took very little effort on my part. I know how to handle these humans.
Tonight, Grandma's cousin Jenn and her almost fiance Ray came for a visit. Jenn came to show Gram how to use her new camera. I barked and got them to serve me my choco-yogurt treats. It was a cinch. Then I performed some cute tricks and I was the subject of the first pictures of the new camera. Man, did I have these humans eating out of my hands.
It certainly is easy working these humans, much easier than working my servants at my house. They are wonderful people, but not as soft as these old people here. I love these old softies here. All I have to do is give them that soft, soulful look of my eyes.
I am enjoying my deluxe spa visit here at La Mirador because I know it will be the last one for a long time. It will be closed until Easter. But tomorrow, I am going for a long ride around the neighborhood to see the sights in my chauffeured limo before being driven home to my roomies and my servants. I will be sad to leave Grandma and Grandpa, but I will see them again before they leave for Syracuse.

Vacation. . . Again
My two servants went away for a few days so I booked a deluxe weekend package at my favorite spa, La Mirador Cullivan. It is located on The Bluffs overlooking the Narrows with a magnificent view of the Verrazano-Narrows Bridge.
When I arrived on Friday in my chauffeured limousine, I was greeted at the entrance by the hostess Eleanora in a long flowing pink caftan. She served me a tray of my favorite choco-yogurt treats. I was then escorted into my suite where my pillows were fluffed and arranged for my early massage and nap.
A lunch of tuna and tomato was served with a fresh beverage of Tap Water by Chef Thomas. I then exercised by doing several laps around the perimeter of the property. A visit from the afternoon masseuse, Maria eased the muscles from my laps. She also stretched the kinks out of my legs. Again, a nice long nap in the sun. Did I tell you that each window has a beautiful sunny exposure to the sun and I am always warm?
I am happy at La Mirador because someone is always with me. When I am home, Mama goes to work early and Papas leaves after her. Papas comes home for lunch and he gives me treats of bananas and greenies.
But when I am at La Mirador, I am spoiled and waited on by servants and Grandma and Grandpa. They can't do enough for me. I am really a spoiled royal. All I have to do is to go near the kitchen and they feed me. If I snuggle on the sofa, they cover me with blankets. My every wish is their command.
For dinner I eat Kibble al Fresco in the Salon. I then take a few laps around and a soak in the whirlpool before going to bed. I like to read People Magazine with Grandma. It's my favorite Friday night treat, or I watch Syracuse basketball with Grandpa. I fall asleep in his arms on his chest.
I love coming here and I look forward to spending two or three nights a week here.
PS I saw a bag that has a new sweater that Grandma is making for my birthday. It is really neat. She makes me great stuff.

The Spa
Hmmm... There is a Spa that I frequent. It is pretty nice for Chihuahuas. I go there a for days at a time. See, I have told you in the past that I live with two roommates, and they can make life difficult at times. I take them with a grain of salt, but I do like to bark at them. Anywho, I am definitely all about the spa. It is an all inclusive spa. They have massage, three meals a day, snacks, exercise, if you like, sleeping, meditation, television, and entertainment.
I definitely suggest you take a trip to the spa if you have wayward roommates and if you are in need of good solid vacation time!

More about me...
I have two roommates, and two servants.
One roommate is a striped cat named Nero Fat. He likes to eat and sleep and bother me. What he doesn't understand is that I am the favorite of my servants.
My other roommate.. well she is a stunner. She is a calico kitty named Cassiopeia Isabelle. Let me tell you, she is a true belle. She is from the South and she lets you know. She has taken me as her boyfriend and we love to play hide and go seek. She is usually the one seeking and for obvious reasons, I am hiding. She is a constant in my life and we get along swimmingly. She likes to make out with me and has taken to recently giving mama a stye in her eye. She loves to do her makeup on mama's makeup vanity. The only problem with that is that she leaves her paw prints all over the mirror, so it is easy to see that she has been around.
My other two roomies; what can I say about them?
First, there is the Papas. He is a big galut and he loves me. I am sure he loves me more than the cats. He recently came into the picture with my mama. I was around first. I keep reminding him of that, but he seems not to notice. He recently has taken to having lunch with me on a daily basis. He gives me a banana or a greenie or something else that is fun to eat. I love treats and I always get them from him. He is a sucker for my sweet face as he always says! I have him broken in!
Lastly, there is the Mama. She is my mama. I love her. That is what Papas always tells her. Truth be told, she is the apple of my eye. I love to sleep on her. She is warm and smushy. She loves to squeeze and kiss me and I do not mind. When I was a tiny little scruffy thing, and we first met, it was love at first sight for both of us. She picked me up out of my cage full of other bum chi's who were stepping on me and held me so tight I fell right asleep. I knew she would keep me safe and warm, and she has. One thing she used to do when I was little was sing to me. She still does it, not as often, but I do love to listen to her lullaby's. I always fall asleep when she sings. Who am I kidding, I fall asleep all the time.
