Gravy Trains with Biscuit Wheels...

Let me tell you.. life as a chi is definitely tough. After listening to the Memorial Day parade like a patriotic chi, I decided that was definitely enough activity for the day. I began my long day of lounging. I was lounging, and I mean lounging, when I was woken up by the pleasant sounds of my carrier being pulled out. This always means I am going for a car ride. Mr. Sir packed me up and I went to see mamas. She had Auntie Dee in the car because she had to run errands. So I jumped out of my carrier when I saw her and got on her lap to drive, but she wouldn't let me. So, she went and got some stuff in the store, none of which is Chi friendly. Anyhoo, I get back to the house with mamas and she, daddy, and I had a BBQ. We were in the backyard when the neighborhood stray cat, who looks like Nero, tried to sneak in. Mamas saw him and shooed him away while protecting me. In the meantime, I was barking a storm, running back and forth, begging, barking, begging, running, all to no avail. Finally, I gave up and laid on my quilt, being a perfect guard hound. Suddenly, my quiet day was disturbed. Papas friend Frank and his wife and three sons came by to say hi. Let me tell you, they are weird children. Normally I am not friendly toward kids, today was no exception. They brought some treats and they sat around for a while and I kept on barking at the kids.. barking, barking, barking... We all hung out and finally I stood by the door and barked until I was let in. I had to tinkle and then I went to sleep. The company left and I was relaxing until papas reminded mamas to blog for me.. so here we are blogging and I am yawning to get back to sleep.....

Good night sleepy chi....
