Hooray! Grandma Ellie and Grandpa Tom finally came back from Syracuse on Saturday and their first stop was at my house to see me!!! They came to take me home with them to the spa.
Mamas and Papas had two little female people visiting for the weekend. They kept making noises and were looking at me in strange ways. I think they wanted to get down on the floor and play with me. So I was grateful to Grandma for springing me out of that noisy place.
I was so excited to see them. I ran around and around and chased after Gram and followed her into the bathroom. I missed her so much. She came back with lots of presents for Mamas -- purses and scarves, cakes and goodies to serve to the adults.
But she brought me the BEST presents. She and Auntie Gail made me a black and white Log Cabin Quilt with red centers and binding. Auntie Gail did all the cutting out and quilting, but Gram did all the sewing together and the fancy stuff. I love it and sleep on it all the time. It goes with me wherever I go. I take it to Gram's when I visit her. I even have a special label that has my name on it that Auntie Gail printed especially on her computer. She put a crown in the center of it under my name. She and Gram are such special ladies for making my quilt.
Gram also made me four new sweaters: one that looks like a serapi in many colors, since I'm a little black Mexican Chihuahua, one in mauve and gray, one in yellow, one in multi-colored dark jewel tones. The serapi and the dark jewel tones match two shawls that Gram made Mamas. When we go out for our walks, we can dress like mother and son.
I am such a spoiled Chihuahua. I can take a new portfolio of pictures in my new wardrobe of sweaters on my quilt. It will be a wonderful background for the color in the sweaters. I am such a handsome, debonair devil, so Mr. GQ!!
